Men's Inner Journey
Registering for the Event
The Men's Inner Journey is a 3.5- day residential retreat. It begins Thursday evening 7 PM and runs through Sunday evening 6 PM. Please eat a healthy meal before arriving at the location on Thursday evening. Snacks and refreshment will be available that evening. First meal is breakfast on Friday morning.
The MIJ is a highly structured process. The exercises we do can be physically and emotionally demanding. Therefore we ask individuals to consider their physical and mental health when deciding to attend this event. If you're not sure, we recommend you consult your physician and or therapist.
The MIJ is not a 'bootcamp'. However out of respect for the other participants we ask that you arrive on time for each session. During the retreat, you will have enough time for sleep and self reflection. To avoid distractions we ask that you to leave your work and your social life at home. Emergency phone calls to the outside world only. No Cell Phones, No iPads. No Computers. No Internet.
There will be three meals prepared daily. Assorted teas, snack, fresh fruit and drinking water will be available around the clock. No drugs or alcohol are allowed on the premise. Cigarette smoking will be limited to a specific area. In preparation for the weekend, we ask that you calm down any unhealthy habits, particularly with regard to the consumption of nicotine, caffeine and or sweets.
The MIJ is a non-sexual yet deeply intimate experience. We ask that you not engage in sexual activity during the weekend. The containment of energy is necessary to achieve maximum results.
Several weeks prior to the event, we will send you a 'Welcome Packet' containing everything you need to know to prepare for the event. Should you have any special needs or dietary requests, or are requesting a ride to and from the retreat location, you'll be able to submit that request at that time. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact us direct at:email@example.com
Special Note: On Tuesday evening following the retreat we'll have a completion night, when from 7 - 9 PM the group reconvenes. You can participate in the evening either in person or by phone. This is a particularly rich experience as participants will have a chance to share about their journey home.
I thank you - from the deepest place
in my heart for this journey.
You may never know the depth of my
happiness for completing this,
but trust me...do it!"
