Group Work

There’s nothing more powerful than the healing energy that can be generated when working within a group context. Learning how to facilitate participants through the process of healing, while they allow their healing to be witnessed by others, can have an enormous impact on both the individual and the group.

During this retreat we will introduce a new energetic perspective that organizes life into 3 genders. We will look at humans as energetic beings, rather than mere biological organisms, and go from seeing life as male and female to experiencing life as feminine, masculine and neutral or “in”, “out” and “ground”. Energy transforms as it moves so we use this 3-gender perspective as the backbone of a framework to create transformative experiences within a group. By using this as a healing modality, participants will have the opportunity to facilitate healing for multiple people, across multiple levels, all at the same time. The course will teach participants facilitation techniques to:

  • Map, Create and Establish the energetic container for the group
  • Foster Awareness that enhance participant receptivity
  • Facilitate Catharsis that harness and direct energy safely and effectively
  • Enable Integration that focuses the attention of the group on presence
  • Officiate 'rites of passages' that embody the dynamic nature of each group

  • No upcoming events

This retreat will use elements of Gateway programs and retreats as templates and experiential processes in order that participants get hands on experience with the work. It is a great opportunity for participants who want to create transformative experiences for groups in whatever work they do. This retreat will be particularly important for participants who wish to have the opportunity to staff and/or facilitate Gateway programs and retreats so that they develop the approach and understanding necessary to conduct programs under Gateway philosophies.
